I used a VHF Radio for all of my boat trips and I really like it. The radio works as it should, communication is clear, lots of customizable settings, the battery life is great (have only had to charge once this season and I keep it on for days at a time), very durable feel, and great accessories provided for charging or connecting to the boat directly.
