So how to extend retevis RT85 frequency?
If you turn on the RT85 radio for the first time, you find that its frequency range does not meet the range of 136-174MHz and 400-480MHz, and can’t enter VFO mode by pressing” # “key. Don’t worry, It perhaps is still locked in factory settings.
There are two methods to expentd the retevis RT85 frequency:
The first method is to turn off the walkie-talkie, then press ” 1″ key and ” 7″ key at the same time, and turn it on;
The second method is to turn off the walkie-talkie, then press ” F ” key and ” 1 ” key at the same time, and turn it on again.
Then press” # ” key, it will enter and display VFO mode, and you can input the frequency what you need
