Good Morning. I downloaded RT84_Firmware_V02.03 and installed it on my radios (two). One of them the letters are illegible and the other started asking for a password (I didn’t choose a password). How to proceed?

Hi I’m having trouble upgrading the firmware on my RT84, I’ve got the programming cable and it DID work I’m just been forced to use a different pc that just won’t play nice, I’ve physically swapped ports as well as virtual com ports (ensuring they are free) what am I doing wrong? I’m also having a lot of trouble even finding the software (which I paid for as well? I thought it came with the radio?) I’ve managed to download it and install it and it appears to be setup correctly but it wont read or write to or from the radio, can you please help me? I’m probably missing something stupid, but for the life of me I cant see what??

    thanks for your help nick,

    Awaiting your reply, nick,
