RT98 Mobile Car Radio, very easy to carry and do not take place. It is single band, you can choose : UHF 400-470MHz/ VHF 136-174MHz/FreeNet 149MHz. The SKU:A9171A ,A9171B UHF or VHF radio , its the factory settings are only one frequency when purchased, so some customer give us feedback that it is stuck on channel 1 or scanning does not work. To solve the problem, you need have to spread its spectrum.
Here is the steps to spread spectrum :
1. Install frequency-writing software and spread-spectrum software. For machines purchased after May 2019, you need
RT98-programming-softwareV1-02 software read and write frequency.
2. Download driver, USB driver: http://47.253.5.16/driver/usb.zip
3. Connect the computer and the car’s notification writing frequency line, and connect the car’s power supply and turn it on.
4. Spread spectrum steps: (Leave us message, we will send you the software)
(1) Open the spread spectrum software RT98V_SetOSetup_1.02 (if you have purchased VHF radio) or RT98U_SetOSetup_1.02 (if you buy UHF radio).
(2) Select the port corresponding to the write frequency line, read the frequency first, and then select COM/COMII,
Just write it into the car platform.
VHF frequency band—Freenet [149.025-149.1125MHz], COM
[136-174MHz], COMII [147-174MHz]
UHF frequency band—PMR446 [446.000-446.2000MHz], COM
[400-470MHz], COMII [450-470MHz]
5. Select the corresponding mode according to the customer’s frequency writing requirements.
6. After spread spectrum, use RT98-programming-softwareV1-02 software to read the frequency to change
Change the frequency, (the U-segment machine needs to use RT98U_Setup_1.02, the V-segment machine needs
Use RT98V_Setup_1.02
