How to program the frequency on your RB22 DMR radio

RB22 has removed the alphabetic keyboard to reduce errors. However, it still retains VFO functionality. Many new users are confused about how to program on their devices. This article will give you some tutorials to help you learn how to do it.

And now, we will tell you how to program the frequency on the radio.

If you are in the channel mode, please long press the [Red] button to switch to VFO mode. And you can see the RX and TX frequencies on the screen.

When you are in the VFO mode, you can press the [Back] button to enter the edit tab.

You can press the [Menu] button to start editing, the up and down button can switch the number. But due to the frequency range being limited, the first number was fixed on 4. So, you can press the [Red] button to edit the second character. Repeat this step for the whole frequency. If you want to renew the number, you can press the [Back] button back to the last character.

And do you want to use the radio to send messages?  Follow the step to do it.

You can enter the create message tab, then you can input the numbers, punctuation marks, and letters on it.

Press the [Green] button to switch the number and punctuation marks, and press the [Red] button to switch the big letters, small letters, and numbers. And if you do not want to press the up and down button to switch the words, you can roll the knob to switch it.

After writing the message, you can type the number or select a person to transmit.
