How to communicate with outdoor walkie-talkies?

Outdoor walkie-talkies are often used when we go out to climb, hike, etc. It is sturdy and durable and has a long battery standby time. These features are not only loved by many outdoor sports enthusiasts, but also by many users who use it in other scenarios. These users not only have outdoor walkie-talkies, but also other walkie-talkies. Sometimes outdoor walkie-talkies and other walkie-talkies cannot communicate smoothly. At tis time, we need to program the walkie-talkie.

Take RT622 and RT649P as examples to show how to program?

If RT622 and RT649P cannot communicate with each other, then you need to check whether their frequency and CTC/DCSS are consistent. For analog walkie-talkies communication, just set all communication channel with same frequency and CTCSS/DCS is ok. You need to programme inside software.

First of all, you need to check whether their frequencies are the same. The outdoor walkie-talkie RT649P has no software. Its frequency can be seen in the manual. The frequencies are as follows:

RT622 and RT649P are both license-free analog walkie-talkies, normally, their frequencies are the same, so you need to check whether their CTC/DCSS is consistent.

RT649P has 121 CTC/DCS, as follows:

The CTC/DCS of RT622 is as below:

From this, you can know that the 16th CTC/DCS of RT649P and the CTC/DCS of the first 8 channels of RT622 are the same; the CTC/DCS of the 41st CTC/DCS of RT649P and the CTC/DCS of the last 8 channels of RT622 are the same.

Hope you can learn it.
