Under remote kill function one can neither hear(receiving signals), nor transmitting. Some of our customers say they never use remote kill function on their DMR radio. Because they do not want anyone kill them whether it is intentional or unintentional. But for HD1 remote kill function, you can operation through software to choose remote kill or not.
How to do refuse anyone remote kill your HD1?
If you dont want anyone kill your HD1. Should be make sure no remote kill function on your HD1. Open the HD1 programming software>>> Setting. Do not choose “Transceive Inhibit Function” and Wake Up Function”. Then anyone cant kill your radio.
How to do to remote kill other radios?
Make sure you two can communicate with each other firstly. If you use HD1, choose “Transceive Inhibit Function” and Wake Up Function” on HD1 software. and edit the radio ID to the Manual contacts in the menu.then choose “Remote Kill”. That radio will be stop work. Same operation to wakeup the radio.
