Retevis RT41 is NOAA RTS radio. It has 22 FRS channels, it’s license-free in USA and Canada, smart in size, rugged quality.
How to operate NOAA FRS radio RT41?
Press Menu key to switch different options:
Press the “MENU” button once; use the up/down buttons to change the channel.
Press the “MENU” button twice; use the up/down keys to set CTCSS.
Press the “MENU” button 3 times; use the up/down keys to set DCS.
Press the “MENU” button 4 times; use the up/down keys to switch VOX and set the VOX level.
Press the “MENU” button 5 times; use the up/down buttons to set the call ring tone.
Press the “MENU” button 6 times; use the up/down button to turn on/off Roger tone.
Press the “MENU” button 7 times; use the up/down button to turn on/off keyboard tone.
Long press Call key: lock the display, avoid some mis-operations
Long press Menu key: turn on or turn off the radio
How to operate FRS radio RT41 NOAA function?
Long press the SCAN button; switch between the intercom mode and the weather forecast mode.
In the weather forecast mode; short press the MENU button to enter the weather forecast switch, up/down button to turn on or turn off NOAA; press the MENU button to confirm.
In weather forecast mode; press the up/down button to change the listening channel. (The channels broadcast by each region are different, see the weather broadcast channel table of each region)
