What’s the Promiscuous Mode?
In Group call, open the Promiscuous, no matter contact or group list for two radios, they can talk with each other! ( precondition: frequency same, color code same, time slot same).
Usually talk with each other in digital mode, you need to meet:
1, TX and RX Frequencies are same
2, Color codes are same.
3, Time slots are same.
4, Same contact or contacts in same group list.
But if the above 1 2 and 3 are same, but 4 different, you can not talk with others, How to do?
Find the promiscuous mode in your radio, turn on it. Then there is no problem to talk with others!
How to set promiscuous mode of HD1?
1, By software
2, By its keyboard Menu: Menu-BandA/B set-Promiscuous-OFF/ON
